What Causes Low Libido In Females?

default
Posted on Thu, 20 Oct 2016
Question: Hello I'm wondering if anyone knows about any disorders that cause female sexual dysfunction? For as long as I can remember, I'be never been able to become sexually stimulated. My vagina does not lubricate. I can actually WANT to have sex but for my entire life, my vagina has never gotten "wet". Whenever I have sexual intercourse, I feel absolutely no pleasure. I've been with different partners and it's exactly the same feeling of nothing. I get no pleasure from oral stimulation as well. If I self stimulate, I get aroused and have these very small, weak XXXXXXX orgasms and it is weird because even throughout this time, my vagina still produces no extra lubrication. It remains exactly the same. My husband and I have been together for 8 years and we have tried everything literally. Four play , toys, lubrication, making sure I was completely relaxed and not worried. I feel comfortable with him and have no psychological problems regarding sex with him. It really feels like the nerves aren't working or something in my vagina because this is a problem I've had all my life, since I lost my virginity. I've never been able to have normal, sexual arousal or enjoy intercourse. I'm 30 years old now and starting to feel like I'm just broken. It is depressing.

Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
This is a depressing problem indeed and I'm glad you have a lot of insight about it.
There is no syndrome as such but some females do have this problem which is only overcome by lubricants and that too just relieves the pain during inrercourse and not orgasms.
Local examination and pap are normal then nothing to worry at least.
Visit a psychiatrist once as he might try some new formulation with positive effect on sexual desire and counselling to help you.
You can try to self stimulate after foreplay and then lubricate with gel and try intercourse.
