Increase intake by food

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to HCM.

If this is severe then he should have intravenous sodium infusion under strict medical supervision. However, exact cause of low sodium should be diagnosed first and it may be kidney dysfunction, hormonal imbalance or too low intake.

Sodium can be taken with food or supplement but medication may be required if there is some if the disorders that I've mentioned.
