default
Posted on Thu, 26 Jun 2014
Question: 5 days post IVF 5 Day transfer. My estrogen level came back at 104, they want me at least at 200 should I be worried? My progesterone is excellent. They up'd my dosage on my estrogen patches and I also need to take to estrogen pills a day now. My BETA is scheduled for next Tuesday.

More information my trigger was a Lupron trigger. Doctor did let us know during Transfer that more than likely estrogen or progesterone levels would fall.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Estrogen and progesterone level monitoring is not at all a reliable indicator of assessing the success of IVF.
The best and most reliable way is to take a blood B HCG test.
Lupron trigger itself suppresses estrogen and progesterone levels.
So do not read much into the values.
Just take the supplements , take adequate rest.
Avoid all kinds of stress and worries and stay positive.
All the best
Please feel free to discuss further.
