Question: I was diagnosed with diabetes about 6 months back.I am regularly monitoring my blood sugar level, which was in the range of 125 to 130 level (fasting)in past 7 days.To day morning it was 85.Should I discontinue taking medicine Gluconorm -G (500 mg) daily morning? I had sporadic pain in my lower abdomen and joint and bone pain, particularly bones of my hands. In the beginning of medication ,I was also prescribed Remylyn D,which I am not taking now.How my joint and pain in lower belly will stop.

Brief Answer:
Do not stop taking any medicines

Detailed Answer:
Dear friend, greetings from HCM I understand your concern. You now have good control of your sugar levels. Please check your HbA1c once and also microalbuminuria.
You do not stop or reduce the dose now continue taking same medications
You have to take food after you take your medications. Or else you will have symptoms of hypoglycemia .
You need to worry if you have any other side effects or glucose level goes below 60 .
Kindly contact us after you get all the investigation s
Thanks you
