Question: My 86 year old Dad who suffers from COPD is seeing lights in his peripheral vision. Checked his blood pressure . . . 82/48 . . . does he need to go to the ER?

1. He is having low blood pressure. Will few more hydration.
2. Lights in peripheral vision at this age will require evaluation for retinal damage. It could be associated with pain. Go to ER

Need to correct blood pressure. He will require support until correction, as risk of fall is high. Opthalmologist opinion is also necessary.
