Question: Have had left flank pressure for approx 1 year, past two nights this has kept me awake. I had a spinal fusion 3 years ago in October L5-S1. Sometimes I do have left groin pain, but it does not last. There was a cyst found incidentally on my left kidney by a radiologist during an MRI of my back. My Dr does not do anything when I describe this to her. What could this be and what should I do???

Left groin pain is not related to kidney cyst.Pain is most likely related to spinal problems.
Simple kidney cysts are age related findings. Most of the age related renal cysts are simple in nature and doesn't require any treatment. You can have follow up Ultrasound scan.
If cysts are complex(suggested by presence of septations, bright debris etc) then it need further investigations like contrast CT scan of abdomen and follow up.
Probably you have age related simple renal cyst,so your doctor neglected it.
You shouldn't worry about this.
You can take analgesics for pain SOS.You should also continue other measures for pain like physiotherapy.
Get well soon.
Hope I have answered your question.
Further queries are most welcome.
