What Causes Large Fluctuations In Body Temperature?
Question: As i have aged my bodily thermometer has gone to the cold side. However at this moment I am sitting in a room heated to 71 degrees, l am wearing warm slippers, socks, active wear pants, a long sleeve tee shirts, a zipped sweat shirt and a cap. My hands are cold, cold even to the touch. If I put them on my face my core temperature reacts by giving me a near shiver response until the heat of my face warms the hand. I am very sensitive to temperature extremes 85F is almost unbearable hot ands when i cover up for the cold, I notice I'm with the people who are most dressed at any given time. When I go to bed I am usually wearing sweats, a long sleeve tee shirt, socks, and a warm pajama top, then I pile on a flannel sheet and two blankets. My body immediatly starts to shiver and be hyper aware of any spots that are a bit chillier and focuses on them till they warm up, usually a bit of a process. On the other hand, I am diabetic controlled with medication, and if I get to the late afternoon 3-5 pm snack, if I don't immediatly (and I mean basically instantaneously) I get warm/hot break out in a sweat and suddenly need to pee very badly. Raising the blood sugar solves that immediatly
I take metformin, onglza, Liinopril and Detrol.
