Brief Answer:
Perioral Dermatitis

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic.

I am Dr. Kakkar, I have gone through your query, I have looked at the picture. I could not see the bumps very clearly because of the light shining on to the skin but I could see that there is perinasal erythema.

I would keep a possibility of Perioral Dermatitis.

Perioral dermatitis or snuffles presents as perioral/perinasal bumps which may be itchy and sometimes topped with a pus head. These bumps are usually present on a background of erythema. People who have sensitive skin or a tendency for rosacea are more prone to develop it.

Etiology is poorly understood and the factors that are implicated in the development of perioral dermatitis are: Using potent topical steroids on face, sensitive skin, sunscreens, oily moisturizers, make- up, sun-exposure, flourinated toothpastes etc.

Cleaning of the face should be with a gentle cleansing lotion e.g cetaphil cleansing lotion rather than soaps

Though topical antiacne medicines e.g Clindamycin Phosphate gel, Benzoyl peroxide 2.5% gel etc work well for perioral dermatitis and bumps, Oral tetracyclines work the best. I usually prescribe either Doxycycline 100mg twice daily or Minocycline 100mg once daily, for faster and more complete response.

Oral antibiotics are rapidly effective, usually within 2 weeks.

Thereafter, the oral medication may be required to be continued for at least 3-6 months.

The condition can relapse and re-treatment may be done in the same way

Hope this helps
