Brief Answer:
History suggestive of refractive error

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.

Symptoms of itchiness, redness and dryness while trying to focus all suggest refractive error.
The first step to be taken is to get refractive correction.
Thus, the vision has to be checked by an ophthalmologist and get a correction in case there is any refractive error.
Presbyopia is the most common refractive error seen at your age group.
If the vision is ll right and there is no refractive error, complete examination of the eye needs to be done by your ophthalmologist to look for other cause of these symptoms.

Thanks and take care
