What Causes Itching Sensation Around Pubic Area And Small Lumps Near Penis And Anus?
Question: Hello Doctor. I am experiencing itching around my private parts and also finds small lumps in my penis and anus. Kindly advice on this?

Hello There, thanks for coming to HealthCareMagic. The itching and the lumps may be related. Possibly an infection. But i can't be sure of that unless I examine them.
The other possibility is that the itching is being caused by a fungal infection.. like Jock itch / Dhobi Itch, while the lumps are skin tags, which are fairly common in young men and are harmless.
In either case. I would suggest the following.
Application of an antifungal powder (there are many brands, just pick one with Clotrimazole in it) and lycor 1% creame to the area after washing with soap and water. The lycor will bring down the inflammation and itching, while the powder treats the possible infection.
If this does not work within 5-7 days of application, then you will need to see a dermatologist in person to get the lumps examined and tested for a bacterial infection. If it's a bacterial infection, then you will need to take a course of antibiotics.
