Brief Answer:
Blood pressure should be evaluated.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Before to have a brain CT scan or MRI, is important to understand what is expected to be evaluated further.

Those symptoms could be caused by uncontrolled high blood pressure, so first there is need to monitor blood pressure for few days.

If abnormal values, blood pressure should be normalized.

Headaches could be related to excessive alcohol consumption, so, a reduction of alcohol intake also is needed.

In case that headaches and neck pain persist after blood pressure is found normal, then imaging studies needed.

Best imaging tool to evaluate lesions of brain that may cause headaches and to evaluate neck vessels is MRI/MRA.

You should discuss with your primary care Doctor about these issues.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care.
