Question: I have had trouble with episodes of body aches and fatigue which has been getting worse over the last several years. I just had blood work which showed MY ANA was elevated, DNA DS elevated and anticentromere antibody elevated.. does this mean I have a connective tissue disorder? PS mother has Discoid lupus, sister just diagnosed with Sjogrens thanks

Brief Answer:
You can develop connective tissue disorder later.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
With elevated levels of ANA, DNA DS and anticentromere antibody with a positive family history you do have high chances of developing autoimmune disease like lupus later.
You presently do not have any symptoms but it is better to start with a treatment to delay the onset and reduce the severity of problem.
I hope this answers your query.
