What Causes Insomnia While On Telma H And Cilacar?

Question: I have a slightly higher blood pressure issue. I have been taking Telma H (40) in the morning and Cilacar 5 mg at night. I find that my sleep is disturbed making me wake up every 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours. I tried avoiding taking cilacar at night for 2, 3 days together and I found that I could sleep better. I did not have any other problem these days. Can I stop taking cilacar altogether. Pls advise.

Fast heart beat, sweating,irritability can occur with calcium channel blocker drugs like clinidipine which I hope have had disturbed your sleep..

You may discontinue the drug if your BP is under control with the Telma H alone.

But make your clinician informed about this and get opinion too..
