Brief Answer:
Naproxen helps in reducing inflammation..

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complaint, in case if you are diagnosed with inflammation in the sinus leading to pain in gums and smell then it is better to take Naproxen rather than Paracetamol..

Although Naproxen is given in Inflammatory joint
conditions like Arthritis, it can also be given in other inflammatory conditions like Sinus infection..

Paracetamol has more of fever reduction property as compared to anti-inflammatory properties, so it will be better to take Naproxen..

Any further questions are welcome..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
