What Causes Increased Pain In The Leg Upon Stretching?

Question: Hello. I have bad pain in left leg increasing think its muscular as when i stretch my leg pain increases. Is it muscular?

A pain in the leg that increases on stretching is likely to be a muscular pain. It can be due to a muscle spasm or a referred pain due to degenerative changes in the spine. Usually such pain subsides with rest, stretching and mild pain killers. Doing a hot compress will also help. You can apply a local analgesic gel for relief.

I have it for bout week or more now and can sometimes cause pain on resting also.
