Brief Answer: You should take iron and folic acid tablets. Detailed Answer: Hello XXXX Thanks for writing to HCM Increased lymphocytes may be due to viral infection. However lymphocytes are increased in many other conditions. It is important to know clinical history of the patient. You also have decreased hemoglobin, hematocrit,MCV,MCH,MCHC level. These are related to decreased iron level in the body. You can take combination of iron and zinc tablet once daily. You should also take folic acid tablet once daily. You should take iron rich food like green leafy vegetables, jaggery, dates, chicken, liver, meat, fish etc. Foods rich in vitamin C also increase iron absorption so you can take citrus fruits. Get well soon. Hope I have answered your question. Further queries are most welcome. Take Care Dr.Indu XXXXXXX

Thank you so much for responding... Is my lymphocyte score abnormally high, should I be concerned? As far as a medical history the only issues I have had continuously is obesity, should I talk to my doctor about these results again? Since he did not mention it at my appointment.
