What Causes Inability To Pass Stool And Stomach Gas?

default
Posted on Sat, 31 May 2014
Question: I have abdomen and pelvic pain. It feels like I has gas trapped in my my stomach the area is very tender. I felt the pain in my anus area yesterday, but since drinking cranberry juice and passing a little gas it went away.
This started on Friday and at that time it was only in my pelvic and anus area, but as of today it has crept up into my stomach area around my navel. I can feel the gas moving and when I go to the bathroom my stool is a little loose but not that productive.

Brief Answer:
Its due to flatulent dyspepsia

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-magic
Greetings of the day

Dear Ms

Inability to pass stools/flatus completely can cause discomfort and pain in abdomen known as flatulence dyspepsia. This could be sometimes related to diet containing more of carbohydrates or foment-able sugar.
I hope there is no pain and burning sensation in the anus while passing stools.
I would suggest you the following which will defintely provide the much needed relief
1. Antacid containing Simethicone : Simethicone is an anti-flatulent agent which will be helpful
2. Rectal Suppository: Dulcolax ( Bisacodyl) suppository inserted into rectum wil help in evacuation of stools and gases
3. Ensure good intake of water: 3 litre a day
4. Avoid alcohol/carbonated beverages

In case you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Take Care
