What Causes Inability To Move Neck To One Side In A Child?
Question: My 12yrs old son is having problem while neck movement, seems stress while studying as he is unable to move neck to the other side, could you please provide the correct line of treatment as i am planning hot pack with volini.
Can he take some medicines like Flexon MR to get immediate relief as this is for adults not for kids i think, please suggest and let me know how long does it take to cure completely along with precautions/to dos.

The inability to move the neck to one side specially during studying can be related to wrong posture or neck muscle spasm. It can be due to usage of a thick pillow while resting.
It is best to give him a hot compress and use volini gel for pain relief. In case the pain is persistent then low dose muscle relaxant may be given. But it is best to consult an orthopedician for a physical examination before giving him any oral medication.
