What Causes Imbalances In Blood?

default
Posted on Wed, 7 May 2014
Question: I seem to have imbalances in my blood or cell minerals which occur easily with changes in food and seasons. At the easter - equinox change from summer to autumn I'm noticing it now. My blood tests from my doctor show as normal so it's not extreme but causes me discomforts. When I have foods high in salt ( crumpets, crackers, canned foods ) I seem to get dehydration in the back of the skull - it's sore. Having vegetable cooking water for potassium results in quick trips to the toilet to urinate and the sore head continues. Sodium and potassium are to be in balance according to my info. Crackers and soymilk which have bicarb soda in them seem to ease the problem, but bicarb soda is said to be not good for kidneys. Can you provide any insight into this web of balances for me ? My food allergies are : dairy all forms, brassica family of plants all, oranges but not lemons, chocolate. I'm trying to avoid ceylon tea and coffee but have them at times. Apparently the oxalic acids in these interact with the calcium content of foods and sometimes cause me discomfort in the general kidneys region, but they are not sore to press.

Brief Answer: Following suggestions... Detailed Answer: Hi my dear, I have gone through your medical history and feel happy that your blood tests resulted normal. I advise to have regular heart check ups to catch heart or any other body's problems in time. Next, it is normal for the blood electrolytes (including sodium and potassium too) to change each time we consume foods and juices (including water). Such imbalances are temporary as our body can correct it and puts within the normal balance. If our body is facing imbalances systematically, it might be harder to get them back to normal balance again. If this is the case, then, blood tests will show such problems too. As long as your blood tests do no show such problems, there is nothing to be worried about. Our body is able to give signals when something is not good for it. So, if you feel your head sore when you eat anything, then, once identified, do not go back to that food again. Your body is indicating that particular food is not doing any good. Hope you got my idea! If you have further specific question, I will be happy to answer them! Dr.Albana
