Can be managed by diet and life style changes.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX
Thanks for writing to HCM

If it is reported as 7.1 then it is towards upper limit.
Normal level of uric acid in males is 3.1-7.0 mg/dl.

It is important to know about the symptoms.
Your condition can be managed by diet and life style changes.
You should avoid purine rich diet, high fructose corn and excess table sugar.
Purines are found in high amount in animal food products such as liver.
Moderate amount of purine is also found in chicken, fish, seafood, cauliflower, spinach, mushrooms, green peas, lentils, dried peas, beans etc. So,you should avoid these foods.
Avoid alcohol if you take it.You should also avoid fasting.
You should increase your physical activity in the form of exercise and walking.

Get well soon.
Hope I have answered your question.
