What Causes High Sugar Levels In Blood While On Glycomet?
Question: I was taking Pioz mfg2 for about a year . withe the adverse reprts on that , i started taking glycomet gp1 as a substitute for that . when I checked pps after 15 days of taking medicine i found that sugar levels have gone to 240 from the earlier levels between 140-155 . i check every 3 months. can there be a remedy.

Of your sugars are not controlled a higher or more frequent dose of medicines should be considered.
If that does not work, I suggest adding a sitagliptin to help you find a better sugar control.
You will need to check your diet as well.

Note that one reading of sugars is not appropriate for suggestion of change of medication.
