Brief Answer:
Iron not causing headhace.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for contacting HCM with your health care concerns. you have a history of iron deficiency and you have been taking iron supplements. Iron is not known to cause headaches. Iron though can cause constipation and black stools. To help better absorb the iron I recommend taking vitamin C supplements along with the iron.

Your headaches maybe caused from other problems including anemia, hypertension, tension or migraine. I need more information to determine what is causing your headaches. When do you get headaches? Are they daily headaches. Are the headaches sharp dull aching pressure or tight. Where is the headache/ In the from back or sides? how long do the headaches last? What makes the headache worse or what makes them better? Is there a family history of migraines. And lastly what medications are you currently only along with your medical history.

I look forward to your response
