What Causes Headache,nausea And Discomfort In Stomach?

Question: I just had a physical and was told I had bacteria in the urine test. I just finished 5 days of cipro. Right after finishing the next day and today I have had a headache, nausea, quezzy stomach. No Loose stools. The week before my physical I was on a hiking and biking trip for a week. I felt like this 2 days before the trip, but managed to make it through. The symptoms were always there, but I could manage. Now I lust feel lousy like a mild case of the flu. Was thinking of going to urgent care tomarrow and then call my Doctor on Monday. I have another hiking trip planned in 2 weeks and sure won't be able to go feeling like this. When the doctor called to tell me I had a bladder infection I really didn,t have the symptoms of a bladder infection just the symptoms that I have now.

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have been taking Ciprofloxacin for UTI.

All the symptoms that you have are likely to be due to medication .(The Ciprofloxacin is known to cause gastritis)

Please take antacids or H2 receptor antagonist like Pantaprozole twice daily for a week.

There is nothing to be worried about your future hiking trip.

Take soft diet with sumptuous quantity of curd and milk . Avoid junk foods.
