Question: woke up with a headache, weak and cold sweat

I took one advil and symptoms relieved but why is this happening


I don't appear to have a cold or flu

Headaches could be related to several conditions, in your case, those more probable include changes in blood pressure, premenopause and/or menopause problems, it could herald an incoming flu, or it could be only a common primary headache, since ibuprofen improved it.

If this was just an isolated episode, you have nothing to worry about.

If headaches repeat, or new symptoms appear (fever, nausea etc.) you need to be evaluated further by your primary care Doctor about above mentioned possibilities.
