What Causes Headache, Blurred Vision, Dizziness And Rapid Heart Rate?

Question: Could I have low oxygen to my brain?

I started with a headache, dizziness, and rapid heart rate about a month ago. My symptoms have progressed and include vision impairment, dizziness, weak, rapid heart rate if sitting or standing, bulging veins on my temples I'm so tired, but I can't sleep due to waking up to an extremely fast heart rate and when I close my eyes I see flashy things. My MPV is slightly elevated at 13. Could I have a blockage causing my brain to be deprived of oxygen?

Brief Answer:
General blood supply impairment may cause such symptoms.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Heart issues and conditions that impair blood pressure may cause low saturation of the brain with oxygen too (Hypoxemia).

It is not a blockage somewhere in the arteries that supply brain, but it could be more a general impairment of blood supply.

Since sitting or standing worsens your condition, postural (orthostatic) hypotension should be taken in consideration.

It is necessary to get diagnosed correctly and to be treated about heart and circulation conditions such postural hypotension, arythmia, and if significant, MVP, in order to improve brain supply with blood and oxygen too.

It is necessary to get evaluated by a Cardiologist and full cardiac work up in order to achieve a correct diagnosis.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Greetings.
