What Causes Headache After Taking Viagra?

default
Posted on Fri, 28 Aug 2015
Question: hi there i suffer from ED and have been prescribed 100mg viagra. I have tried cialis I could not sustain a erection with cialis.

The first three times I took viagra the side effects were as expected a mild headache the next day which goes away. So this wasn't a problem

However I took a pill for the 4th time 2 weeks ago and everyday I have been getting a dull headache on the left side of my head. I am not sure if it's because of the viagra. However the dull ache does not go away.

Please advise I haven't taken viagra since to be on the safe side and will take 50mg instead off 100mg next time.

Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your problem.
Let me assure you that present headache has nothing to do with viagra taken two weeks back.
Your headache can be because of various reasons like depression, lack of sleep, eye problem, high blood pressure etc.
I would advise you to get your blood pressure and eyes checked up.
Sleep well and try to take 7-8 hours sleep.
Avoid late nights and excessive use of computers and XXXXXXX phone.
Start doing regular exercises, yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercises.
Drink plenty of water and take more of fresh fruits and vegetables.
Take paracetamol whenever having headache.
Avoid smoking and alcohol ,if any.
In case your headache persists even after 2 weeks of these measures, consult a neurologist.
I hope it helps, however you are most welcome to revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
