Posted on Sat, 11 Oct 2014
Question: Hi ive had gastritis problem for couple of years now, my gp prescribed me anti gastric medicine, the problem is still there, and now on top ive been experiencing alot of headaches which seems to be there nearly all of the time. The symptoms that i get are fatigue, gnawing pain in my abdomen, lump kind of feeling in my throat at times, and also now im experiencing another new symptom, in my left ear i get a weird feeling of something twitching or being pulled to be precise. I am very dristressed as ive been many times to my doctor but they arent doing anything about it. I would be ever soo grateful for some help in ruling out what it possibly maybe the problem. I also have pain just under my left breast, where the digestive system is.

Brief Answer:
Esomeprazole if norelief ultrasound &UGI Endoscopy

Detailed Answer:
Hello, I have read your symptom description, I would like to know a few things
1.Have you lost or gained weight in the past two years?
2. Did you have temporary relief while on lansaprazole?
3.Do you frequently take pain killer medications?
4. Are you on any other medications other than the ones mentioned by you in your query?
In case your answer to all of the above is no then,
I would advise you to take esomeprazole for a period of 8 weeks.
In case the symptoms persist on this medications I would advise you to get an ultrasound of the abdomen and an upper GI endoscopy.
I would also like you to visit your doctor and get a physical examination to find a cause for your headache.
Hope this helps
Do Get back in case you have further queries

Brief Answer:
esomprazole

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I would suggest esomeprazole twice a day for 8 weeks,
In case your symptoms persist you would need an upper GI endoscopy along with an abdominal ultrasound.
I would also advise regular exercise, avoiding lying down atlrast for 3 hours after meals and elevating the head end of the bed by 4 inches
