Brief Answer:
Urinary retention due to benadryl, Discontinue Benadryl

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for asking your question at healthcare magic.

I have gone through your question and understand tour concern.

Benadryl contain antihistamine which is known to cause the urinary symptoms you are experiencing. It causes urinary retention resulting in frequent urination in small quantities. These symptoms are more pronounced in people with prostrate enlargement which is unlikely in your age group, but worth looking for.

I recommend that you discontinue using benadryl and consult your doctor as soon as possible. The doctor will evaluate you to rule out prostrate enlargement and urinary track infections. You can discuss with your doctor regarding other antihistamines like cetrizine, loratidine etc that do not cause as much urinary retention as benadryl and see if these medications are right for you. But I strongly advice against starting these medication without consulting your doctor first.

Hope I was able to answer your question
Please feel free to address any more concerns
