What Causes Frequent Urination And Urge To Urinate While Driving?
Question: i have very frequent urge to urinate triggered by driving and lying down sometimes every 10 -15 minutes. been prescribed dariten, urivoid and alfoo. Its not helping. 49 years of age. Can you suggest something

I went through the query and understood your concern.
Since you had post void urine retention 2 years back and the symptoms has increased now a days I advice you to repeat ultra sound examination,get done urine routine and also blood glucose levels (FBS, PPBS).
Increased frequency occurs most commonly due to prostate enlargement, diabetes or local infection. Since there are no features suggestive of infection the other 2 has to be ruled out.
Be relaxed while urinating, never apply any pressure and maintain local hygiene. These will help in early prostatomegaly. Continue same drugs till you get investigations reports. These drugs are enough as they helps in easy voiding in prostate enlargement.

have done got myself checked for serum sugar level and also done routine urine check and my sugar levels are okay and no infection has been detected either.
