What Causes Foul Smell From Groin Area After Treating Vaginal Infection?

default
Posted on Wed, 10 Jun 2015
Question: I have a strong yeast smell when I urinate, but no other signs of infection.

I had a vaginal infection in February, but I got rid of it by drinking a lot of cranberry juice and water. Then this started right after I got rid of the vaginal infection.

Brief Answer:
It might be UTI

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to healthcare magic.I understand your concern.
In my opinion there might be some urinary tract infection(UTI).The UTI are commonly seen in postmenopausal period.
If you have any symptoms like increased frequency of urination or burning urination then complete urine examination might be needed.
If there is any sign of infection in test then you might need a course of antiboitics.
Dont worry.Take adequate fluids upto 2 litres continue cranberry juice might also be helpful.
Hope this saatisfies your query.
Feel free to discuss further.
