Question: My scrotum has filled wit liquid. I am experiencing tenderness in my groin. I am 80 years old.

Scrotum filled with liquid may be due to Hydrocele or Hernia (tenderness in my groin hints towards this). However, a Physical examination is mandatory to assess this since there are variety of other causes that needs to be ruled out. A transillumination test and a scrotal ultrasound helps in confirming the diagnosis. Complication of the history of prostate cancer should also need to be ruled out. Hope I have answered your query.
