Brief Answer:
Need urgent evaluation.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Welcome to HealthcareMagic.
Thanks for posting to us.

Sorry to hear such a story of your friend.
If the fluid comes really from head(CSF Rhinorrhea), and not nasal discharge, we need urgent evaluation and treatment.

It will be fine if you can clear few more points.
When did this problem start?
Is this the first episode, or was there any previous episodes?
Any history of head trauma in the past?
What is the nature of fluid?(clear/blood stained/yellowish?)
Was she suffering from cold or allergic rhinitis?
Any other symptoms like fever/cough/vomiting/visual disturbance?

Also, kindly arrange for an urgent appointment with your doctor(delay in starting prophylactic antibiotics may cause complications like meningitis). We may need few investigations like an x-ray, CT scan etc.

Meanwhile, let her lay down with head end elevated.
Avoid sneezing, coughing or forceful straining at stool(use cough suppressants/stool softeners if needed).

Hope this answer will help.
Kindly follow up.
Wishing for everything to be fine.
Thank you.
