What Causes Flatulence?
Answer given below
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.
Increased gas is due to improper digestion. It occurs due to certain food items and if there is any gut infection.
I would advise you to get a stool test done to rule out infection. Also try to avoid ga forming food items. Most often diet rich in fiber content cause increased gas. These include beans, cabbage etc. Try to lessen the intake of these. I would like to however tell you that fiber is important for good bowel movements. So you need to adjust the intake of fiber food items so that it does not affect you bowel habits.
You can take mdications like Galto and gasofilm for relief of symptoms.
I hope that answers your question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr.R.K
