Question: My wife underwent. embryo transfer on 25th XXXXXXX evening. She was having fever with temp varying between 99 and 102 from 26th and as per doctor suggestion gave Urine sample for checking infection. Today we got the result and she is having E COLI infection and Doctor have given medicine. hope the fever she had for 2 days do not have any impact on the embryo. Request your opinion on the same

Simple precautions advised

Detailed Answer:
All fruits can be taken except papaya and pineapple in raw uncooked form.
Except these she can take all routine vegetables, fruits and dry fruits.
Also take a note of the following points -
- ask her to have a good rest with no exertion at all
- avoid intercourse
- take ample amount of water
- ask her to take good amount of milk and green leafy vegetables
- almonds and walnuts are very good and should be taken on daily basis
- avoid any kind of stress
- keep taking all the medicines as prescribed daily without a miss.
