Brief Answer: Follows Detailed Answer: Dear Madam , Thank you for posting your query on HCM. Well looking into your problem I would like to tell you that it will be difficult to predict what problem is there because it is an intermittent symptom. But I feel it could be due to some some Upper respiratory tract infection or some rhinitis that you got in past can lead to it . Or there is a possibilty of infection going on the ear . This will require examination of ear with an otoscope to see . Till then I will advise you to perform valsalva manouvre which will help in balancing the air pressure between two compartments an will help in relieving the symptoms . If you have any FEVER , VERTIGO , TINNITUS Seek medical help at earliest . Take care. Dr. Shruti
