Brief Answer:
Irritable bowel syndrome of constipation type

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome to HCM and thank you for your query.
Your symptoms are suggestive of an Irritable Bowel Syndrome of the constipation variety.
you should eat a wholesome food rich in fibres and avoid carbonated beverages, gas forming vegetables especially cabbage, broccoli , cauliflower and raw fruits.
You should relax and try to be stress free. Anti spasmodic medicines would be helpful.
You would get some relief with osmotic laxatives like lactulose or Movicol. Do not use irritant purgatives which can increase your pain and produce a dependence.
Lubiprostone (Amitiza) is approved for women age 18 and older who have IBS with constipation. It works by increasing fluid secretion in your small intestine to help with the passage of stool.
I shall be happy to answer if you have further queries.
Wish you good health

Brief Answer:
You are welcome, wait a couple of months

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.
I am glad that you are doing well.
Continue the same healthy life style.
Are you using any of the laxatives I mentioned before?
You should avoid constipation and the distension of the colon would decrease with time. Wait a couple of months before you have another diagnostic procedure.
