Brief Answer:
Get another check-up done if this fatigue persists.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

1. It is common to feel fatigue after a strep throat, but this should not last for more than a few weeks.

2.This fatigue may also be drug induced if you are on any other medication.

3. It will be prudent to get another examination and throat swab to check if the strep throat has cleared. Though the strep throat in itself is a mild illness, the complications of such infections may lead to this fatigue.

I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any more questions I will be available to answer them.

Regards.

Brief Answer:
Yes, it is safe to wait for three weeks.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for writing back.

1. It is safe to wait for three weeks.

2. Since fatigue is the only symptom, review all your current medications for ones that may be causing the fatigue. Avoid undue anxiety, make lifestyle & diet changes, add multivitamin supplements.

3. The further course depends upon whether your fatigue decreases in the coming weeks or not.

I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any more questions I will be available to answer them.

Regards.

Brief Answer:
Anxiety worsens fatigue. Stomach problems must be addressed.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for writing back.

1. Anxiety will increase the fatigue.

2. Stomach issues such as gastritis, indigestion and malabsorption can cause fatigue.

3. You should get a Gastroenterologist's opinion ad treatment for the stomach problem.

4. If you can elaborate on the stomach issues, I may be able to suggest treatment.

I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any more questions I will be available to answer them.

Regards.
