Breast fed babies usually do not contact routine stomach infection. Do you give breastfeeding?

Bottle hygiene to be given utmost importance for such babies.
Stool culture and sensitivity to be done to get the exact bug causing this problem. And also the relevant drug will also be known by the report of culture to eradicated the infection.

Brief Answer:
Better to go for stool culture

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Weight of the baby is quite satisfactory.
Bacterias are seen in the stool. Fat globules can be found in infected stools.
So there is a point to go for the stool culture. And there is no harm in getting the stool culture. Infact it will be beneficial to recognize the bacteria so that it can be checked timely and further infection to baby may be stopped..
Thanks
