default
Posted on Tue, 10 Jun 2014
Question: I have lost all my teeth. I paid a dentist $30,000 to fix all of my teeth and in 5 years they failed. He talked me into another $38,000 and placed 3 pins in the bottom which are failing. I wised up and went to another dentist last September. He pulled all of my teeth and had temps in last December. I have been home bound since. He does not want to see me until XXXXXXX I am just about crazy over this. What would you do?

Brief Answer:
Better you should wait for your appointment

Detailed Answer:
Hello, XXXXXX
Thank you for consulting with healthcaremagic.
This is Dr. Dipti Singh here to answer your query.
Actually with ageing process there are changes in bone also, it can be possible that the height of your bone is decreasing gradually, that is why there was failure of implant (pins) .
In implant therapy, the treatment takes times, initially dentist places some screws in bone and wait for some time to see whether the bone is accepting it or not.
That is why your dentist has given you next appointment of XXXXXXX to see the bone support for implant.
So better you should wait for your appointment.
Hope it will help you.
Thank you.
