What Causes Facial Bloating?

Question: my face gets bloated sometimes for one or two weeks and then goes back to normal. i dont think it has anything to do with my peroid cycle. my face will look super round. i wouldnt call it swelling. is something wrong with my kidneys or thyroid? should i see a doctor?
