Brief Answer:
kindly provide few more information

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome.
I have gone through your query. Do understand your concern. But the information provided by you is very little.
I would like to know little more about it so that I can provide you with specific advice.
Had you sprained your ankle recently? Or there is history of injury?
Do you have any other medical illness like hypertension, heart related problem, diabetes. ( from the drugs it appears you do have hypertension)
Do you smoke or take alcohol?
Both the leg is involved or single leg?
If you press the swelling, is it tense or an indentation can be seen?
Is the swollen areas are red and feel warm to the touch?
What work do you do, do you have sedentary lifestyle?
Is there any redness or discoloration?
If possible upload the pictures of the leg?
Kindly provide this information, I'll be glad to help you out.
Take care

Brief Answer:
sit with your leg raised, raise the leg end of the bed

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome.

High blood pressure makes your heart worker harder. Long standing hypertension, affects the heart, and is less effective at pushing the blood around. This allows fluid to build up in your lower legs and ankles, which causes them to swell up.

I would suggest you to sit with your leg raised or lifted up, while sleeping also raise the leg end of the bed or but pillows below the leg. This lets your blood flow more freely and should help reduce the swelling.

Please also consult a cardiologist and get lipid profile test done to know if you have high cholesterol in your blood. It is better to get a complete heart check up done because as said earlier high blood pressure also affects the heart.

Hope this helps.
Take care.
