Question: yes
I am having extreme left groin pain that seems to be deep inside. the MRI did not show anything. It is becoming difficult to walk for more than a few minutes. The pain is constant and seems to be a stabbing pain when I walk. I have been to a orthopedist, general surgeon and colon rectal surgeon.

Brief Answer:
Fibromuscular pain

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

If the pain is constant and stabbing type. There are only two possibilities
1. Nerve related pain
2. Fibromyalgia

I recommend you to approach a neurologist first to undergo nerve conduction study first, if that is also normal then you will have to be managed with physiotherapy and pain killers.

I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me

Thanks for responding. I was given nerve meds from the ER. This medication assists a little but not completely. The MRI did not show any muscular issues. Also, I failed to mention that the first MRI showed a cyst at the base of the cocyst. But the colon/rector surgery said that it was unrelated to the type of pain I am experiencing.

Brief Answer:
not related to the cyst

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for getting back.

I want to add here that muscle related issues will not show on mri unless it's a tumour. I recommend that you Aporoach a neurologist for a nerve conduction study and also a muscle biopsy. These two tests are confirmatory for any inflammation. If you don't want to undergo a biopsy then you can ask your doctor to send a total CPK of the serum, High CPK is suggestive of muscle involvement
