Brief Answer:
Do you still have interest in things you like?

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Am sorry for the tardy response. Thank you so much for responding to my questions.

Do you still have interest in the things you liked before? These symptoms sound more like transient down phase as I have not found any specific disease condition that might explain these symptoms. I believe this would soon be over. Stay positive and develop a positive mindset.

Thank you Dr. Ivo. I have not lost interest in anything. I still enjoy my wife, many friends, fly fishing, golf & other interest. I failed to mention that my blood pressure has been flucuating a lot: During the last 30 days of daily readings I've had a high of 177/88 and low of 108/63, pulse 80 to a low of 51.
I didn't see a "link" on your site so I'll send my blood test via email. XXXX

Brief Answer:
I have received the results!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for the results you sent. I have now seen them. Good enough, they are all normal but for this PSA. Have you ever chatted with a urologist about this? Has it been increasing or about the same since the first abnormal value was reported?

I will suggest that you get the blood pressure monitored by a physician to ascertain whether you are in the range for hypertension most of the times or not as the upper values could be diagnostic of hypertension.

I wish you well and hope to hear back from you!

I'm disappointed in your response: my original question was about tiredness.
1. In response to your unrelated questions about my PSA, of course I've discussed my elevated PSA with my urologist and have endured 9 prostate biopsies to determine if cancer is the cause of the high number. Monitoring continues.
2. Of course I've discussed my blood pressure with my GP thus the prescription meds I'm on and monitoring continues.
3. My question as to likely clinical causes of the chronic tiredness remains unanswered.

Brief Answer:
I understand your frustration!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Sure in the midst of talking about many other things, I might have certainly not addressed what is of greatest concern to you. Am sorry for that.

To be honest, there is no immediate visible cause of this chronic fatigue. Your medications cannot explain this for now. Given that it started recently, we will have to gather more details to be able to make the exact diagnosis and propose management options. Most common causes of chronic fatigue are related to infections, immune disorders and hormonal imbalances. For now, there is no clear cut symptom that points to a specific group of these possible causes.

My advice is to monitor and gather more details. It is my believe that this would resolve spontaneous. In the meantime, good diet, fruits, positive mindset and regular exercise would be helpful. I will only investigate more if this persists or worsens.

Thanks for understanding and wish you well.

Will do. Do you keep my info on file so that I don't have to 'start fresh' each time?
If so, please send me any 'reference number' I may need.
