Brief Answer:
not a direct side effect of Viibryd as such

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Viibryd, as such, would not cause this 'talking a lot' kind of side effect. It can cause restlessness. But it does not have any side effects on the language or vocabulary of a person.

Also, it does not cause your other symptom of 'not thinking quickly', but it does cause more somnolence/ sleepiness that could hamper your thinking capacity.

Hence, although Viibryd may not directly cause these as side effects in you, it may be a possible side effect indirectly through other mechanisms.

You seem to be on the minimum starting dosage of Viibryd i.e. 10mg. Hence, these symptoms should subside soon as you get used to the new drug.

I would suggest you to wait and watch for at least 2 more weeks. These symptoms should be gone by them. Continue to take the medicine as prescribed.

Wish you good health.
