I would explain as follows:

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that those symptoms could be related to low blood pressure and orthostatic hypotension. Chronic anemia can lead to this clinical scenario too.

The slight burning in your lungs could be a sign of gastro-esophageal reflux.

Coming to this point, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a careful physical exam and some tests:

- a chest X ray study
- a complete blood count for anemia
- coagulation tests
- kidney and liver function tests
- blood electrolytes for any possible imbalance.

Taking an antiacid or omeprazole may be helpful in case of gastro-esophageal reflux.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Kind regards,

Brief Answer:
Your actual therapy doesn't seem likely to be related to your complaints.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again!

Regarding your actual medications, I would explain that Warfarin doesn't lead to any similar clinical symptomatology.

Propafenone instead do cause dizziness as a potential side effect. Nevertheless, your clinical appearance of dizziness seems more likely to be an expression of some degree of orthostatic hypotension.

Furthermore, your actual Propafenone daily dose is not so large. In fact, 300 mg/day (2x150 mg) is under the usual applied daily dose.

Anyway, stopping Propafenone temporarily would be an option to clarify even any potential implications.

You need to discuss with your prescribing physician on the above mentioned issues.

Regards,

Dr. Iliri
