Brief Answer:
Hello. Isolated eosinophila is rare in leukemia
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. Of course, eosinophilic leukemia can be there in childhood blood cancer, but an isolated eosinophilia without any other blood abnormality or sign and symptoms is very rare.
So in isolated eosinophila, we generally think about parasitic infections and allergies.
If there are other sign like infections, enlarged nodes , fever, or very high total leucocyte counts, then there may be a possibility of leukemia.
Thanks and regards
