Brief Answer:
Cause of left side headache

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX, thanks for asking from HCM.

I can understand your concern. The left side headache near front could be due to

: Left frontal sinusitis - It is one of the common problem. It can manifest as headache, eye pain, post nasal discharge, nasal blockade and heaviness in head. It increases with cold, forward bending, nasal blockade, evening.

You can suspect it if your features are matching and you have history of allergy, nasal blockade.

: Left eye problem - It can be eye strain, visual blurring, eye rubbing, glaucoma. It can be suspected of only one side headache and it is just above eye. You can consult doctor and get a visual examination done to rule it out.

: Less likely Migraine - It can be atypical Migraine. Usually normal Migraine headache is pulsatile, associated with vomiting, aura like symptoms before pain. In atypical migraine, the pain can be dull, not associated with vomiting, no aura. It can be suspected if headache occurs more commonly and other causes have been excluded.

: It can be due to gastritis, indigestion. Such visceral problem can present like anything. It can cause headache, vomiting, weakness, sweating in palms and soles, stress.
In such causes, pain usually resolve after taking medication and relief in abdominal symptoms.

You can consult doctor to confirm your diagnosis. After some conclusion, you can ask me or give me detail history of your complaints like vision complaints, nasal complaints, any relief after relief in abdominal symptoms.

After getting your detailed history, I can suspect something from above mentioned headache types. After that, I will be able to mention treatment of your condition.

Hope you got my point. Thanks. Take care.
