Question: I am 83. I have recently started to drool. Do you have some idea of the cause? I have recently received dental implants. I see dentists for dry mouth. How about mysenia gravis?

Drooling can be either due to increased saliva production or reduced swallowing capacity.

But as you see a Dentist for dry mouth, drooling can be due to reduced swallowing.

Can you first of all please tell me that do you drool all day or only at night?
-Is there any pain or difficulty in swallowing?
-Do you breathe through mouth?
-What treatment are you taking for dry mouth, please elaborate?.
