What Causes Dry Ejaculation While Treating Kidney Stones?

Question: I am currently dealing with a kidney stone and had(hopefully it's gone)a urinary tract infection. It started with brown urine and blood in urine on XXXXXXX 3rd. I have been to the ER twice, XXXXXXX 4th and XXXXXXX 8th. Prior to XXXXXXX 3rd my girlfriend and I were having sex and when I orgasmed there was no sperm. This has been going on and I don't know what to do. Everything was working fine until the end of May/early XXXXXXX .. I know it's a strange question. Wondering if this happens before, during and after a kidney stone and/or UTI?

Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have been suffering from Kidney stone and facing problem of dry ejaculation since couple of weeks..

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) Are you taking medication (Tomsulosin) for kidney stone ?

If yes the dry ejaculation is due to what is called as retrograde ejaculation which is a known side effect of this drug where semen enters backwards in to bladder instead of entering forward in urethra to be expelled outside .

Do not worry this will get resolved once you stop taking medication.

Thank you for you quick reply. I think the first time it happened was before I started taking the medication, tamsulosin. But I'll see what happens as I took the last pill today.

It will take two days to resume to normal ejaculation .

Thanks for follow up .Acton of Tomsulosin is for 24 hours hence you will have normal ejaculation two days after taking last dose .
