Question: What can cause dizziness other than the head/brain area? Is there some internal organ that can give rise to dizziness?

Yes,there can be several other common causes of dizziness,which are-
1)Vestibular(Ear abnormalities)-inner ear disease,paroxysmal positional vertigo,cholesteatoma,vestibular neuritis,Meniere's disease to name some.
2)Migraine
3)Heart related causes-like arrhythmias
4)Degenerative disease of spine-cervical spondylosis
5)Dehydration
6)Fever
7)Low blood pressure/postural fall in blood pressure
8)Sometimes- vision disturbances
9)Stress/Tension-This is an important and a common cause of dizziness
